Born in Kyoto in 1980. After graduating from university, he completed his studies at the Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Technical College (Molding and Research Department). He studied under the ceramist Hirokazu Ichikawa and currently works in Sumiyama, Uji, Kyoto.
