What Kurasu wants to convey

I really wanted to drink it hot, so I saved it for Brazil until it cooled down.

It has a nutty sweetness that is reminiscent of Brazil, and a warm drinking experience similar to lightly roasted roasted green tea.

Additionally, subtle fruitiness of pear and berry add complexity to the cup.

It's not flashy, but this kind of coffee really hits home at this time of year.

This is the kind of coffee you'd want to drink while saying, "It's getting cold again this year."

It also pairs well with Japanese sweets and autumn flavors.

The reason we purchased these beans at Kurasu is because they are clean and floral, starting with the acidity of orange and ending with sweet nuts, and have a great balance as a daily coffee, and we feel that our customers should drink them every day.

This is what we want to drink every day in the fall and winter.

Importer's comments

Luciano Del Pupo grew up on a nearby farm, as a production partner with his father, who worked in coffee growing in the Vila Pontonyes region.

As an adult, Luciano married Josaín Rietig Braga and became the manager of the farm she inherited from her family, which he named Sitio Braga, after Josaín's father's surname. Although the property already contained a hectare of coffee, Luciano began to experiment with passion, planting new varieties and trying new techniques, always striving for productivity and quality.

Luciano purchased Despulvadour to begin processing pulped natural coffee and invested in a covered drying patio and African beds. However, the high cost of running a farm and limited manpower made these efforts difficult to achieve. Coffee is the family's main income, and today their coffee is recognized in local and state-level competitions. Luciano is constantly looking for new markets to continue the work his family started and leave his daughters with the tools to continue the farming legacy.

Currently, 7 of Sitio Braga's 15 hectares are planted with coffee, in an area of Corrego Liberdade at an altitude of 850 to 1200 metres.
