Arita, Saga Prefecture, the birthplace of Arita ware, is said to be where the first ceramics in Japan were made by the founder of ceramics, Ri San-pyeong, in 1616. In 2012, together with the people of Arita who have a wealth of experience and skills, Teruhiro Yanagihara became creative director, and a new ceramics brand that connects the history of Arita was born.
