In order to bring a breath of fresh air to the specialty coffee industry, Varia has collaborated with Kurasu, a company that delivers specialty coffee from Kyoto to the world.
Kurasu's expertise in roasting and brewing combined with Varia's design and precision manufacturing capabilities results in a new and innovative dripper.
FLO is the product of research into changes in flow rate during extraction. Varia, which has strengths in product manufacturing, has acquired a patent for FLO, and Kurasu has improved the flow rate and materials. FLO allows you to freely control the flow rate by making full use of the attached screen.
Customize flow rate to suit your coffee
Choose your preferred screen and control the flow rate to enhance your brewing experience.
This product comes standard with three FLO screens, each with a different flow rate (Fast, Medium, Slow).
FLO screens use etching technology to cut ultra-thin stainless steel with extreme precision for absolute, blur-free uniformity.
Cool-touch exterior for added comfort
The double-insulated stainless steel exterior prevents heat build-up, allowing for more comfortable coffee extraction. It also keeps the temperature in, improving extraction efficiency.

Q. Can I purchase an optional screen?
A. We plan to release it in the future, and are currently adjusting the release date. As soon as the details are decided, we will announce them on our official SNS accounts.
Q. Are there any stores where I can actually see the products?
A. It will also be available at the Kurasu Ebisugawa and Kyoto stores from May 30th. (Please note that we cannot guarantee availability.)
In addition, from mid-June onwards, the product will also be available at some domestic retailers other than Kurasu stores.
Q: What recipes do you recommend?
A. We plan to introduce recommended recipes from Kurasu baristas on the Kurasu website in the future.
