Notes

  • The edges are left uncut, so there will be some fraying when you first start using it, but this will settle down naturally.
  • Colors may fade due to washing, rinsing, or friction. Colors may appear in the water when washing for a while, or may run off due to sweat or rain. Please be aware that the color may transfer to other laundry.
  • This tenugui uses a technique called pigment printing. When washed with water or rubbed, excess pigment particles on the surface may come off, causing the color to fade and appear whitish and fuzzy. This type of color fading is unavoidable due to the nature of pigment printing. We appreciate your understanding.
  • We recommend washing by hand whenever possible and using a laundry net when washing in the washing machine.
