32 prongs for more consistent extraction

The biggest improvement to improve performance without compromising the appeal of the hugely popular V3 Brewer is the 32 small protrusions inside the brewer.

These ridges create a small space between the paper and the brewer, allowing the extracted coffee to flow smoothly while at the same time keeping the paper filter perfectly flat.

This allows for a more consistent and uniform extraction with less clogging.

Expanding the ways to brew coffee

You can vary your recipes by using a finer grind, more beans, or faster pours.

The existing V3 is known for its clear, high-quality acidity while bringing out sweetness, but the MK2 is more efficient. It tends to produce an extraction with a sense of body.

If you find the coffee too strong, grind it a little coarser or adjust the recipe to enjoy it at your preferred strength.

Make coffee safely anywhere

The MK2 uses impact-resistant polypropylene. It has the same weight and feel as the Trogamid used in the original V3, but is light and durable. You can carry it in your bag, handle it roughly, or drop it on the floor.

A dripper used by professionals around the world

Sherry, the 2022 World Brewers Champion, also used an Orea Brewer (made by Trogamid) at the world championships.

Staff Comments

"The Orea Brewer is one of my favorite drippers because it produces a refreshing and clean taste, but I was worried that the extraction time would change depending on how the paper fit when placed. The MK2 has a protrusion that greatly solves this issue.

The increased space makes clogging less likely to occur, resulting in more uniform extraction and ultimately improved extraction efficiency.

Personally, I prefer the surface texture of Basalt Black, but if you are looking for more consistent extraction, I highly recommend the MK2.

It's a small change, but it really makes a difference to the taste of the coffee!

A great update that shows the evolution from the previous version.

Compared to the Muji v3, which has no internal ribs, the flow rate is more stable. This is especially noticeable when the filter is in close contact with the zero bypass setting. This seems to be a highly reproducible dripper.

The relatively thick plastic has a pleasant, rough texture that I really like.

A total amateur coffee lover
I like this dripper.

I'm a total amateur coffee lover. I always brew with 20g of beans. When I was using the Kalita Wave Dripper, it often clogged up and took a long time to extract. Since I changed to the Orea V3 MK2, this has not happened and I'm enjoying delicious coffee. The taste seems to be consistent. I'm glad I bought it.

I really liked it.

The product is very small and simple yet very stylish.
It comes with a paper with recipes written on it, and there are three of them, so you can enjoy brewing coffee without getting bored.
The only drawback is that the base is expensive and only fits genuine ones.
I thought I could use the base of the Origami dripper so I didn't buy the base, but it was completely unstable and I can't say it was very usable, so I plan to purchase an additional one.

Simple and delicious

I had been using a cone-shaped dripper, but it got damaged so I bought a different type for the first time.
The water drained out faster than I expected, so I thought it would be a bit thin, but I was surprised to find that it was not only clear but also had a strong flavor.
This was the first time I tried comparing the same coffee beans using the two drippers, and it was a new discovery for me to see how different they were. The Olea coffee has no unpleasant taste and is clean and mild. There are many recipes introduced, so I'll try them out from time to time.
