Development Story OREA's Dream
OREA has supported the open source initiative "Precious Plastic " for many years.
Precious Plastic has a great vision to promote local production using plastic that would otherwise be thrown away in 2022, when local manufacturing is disappearing. This initiative creates a community that allows anyone to make recycled products locally, and also makes available for free the blueprints for the machines needed to recycle plastic.
It was in this community that Orea's president, Horia, met future OREA Brewer Base collaborators EasyMoulds and Relic Plastic , and after much trial and error with them, this product was born.
Although it is more difficult to process than ordinary plastic and is not cheap at all, OREA says that choosing this plastic was an inevitable choice.
The recycled plastic used is made from plastic originally used for food, so it is safe to use as food utensils.
OREA hopes that this product will inspire everyone to create something valuable from the things they throw away.

OREA's capabilities
The products they have created so far have been highly praised not only for their design but also for their performance, and many coffee competitors use OREA's Brewers.
Matteo, the 2020 UK Brewers Champion, also used Orea at the World Championships.
