• Paper filters that are kind to people and the earth
 • A gift for coffee lovers

Overwhelming coffee permeation speed

The coffee continues to pass through at a speed that is incomparable to conventional paper filters.

In tests conducted with Kigu, coffee passes through the filter 4 to 5 times faster than through conventional paper filters made by other companies.

This results in a cleaner cup.

In addition, using the Sibarist, coffee beans can be ground finer without clogging, making it possible to brew coffee in completely different ways than previous recipes.

Paper filters that are kind to people and the earth

All the ingredients in the paper filters are organic and safe.

 • Abaca fiber grown exclusively for paper filters on farms in Ecuador and the Philippines.
 • Cellulose from FSC certified European pine plantations
 • Plant-derived polylactic acid

These are produced and processed in a factory in Barcelona to create paper filters.

All of the bags used are compostable and made from materials that will return to the soil. They also have zippers to prevent odors from transferring.

A gift for coffee lovers

Home baristas almost always use paper filters.

This slightly more luxurious product makes a great gift for coffee-loving friends and family.

Of course, it's also great for those who want to add some new excitement to their everyday coffee life.

GLITCH COFFEE & ROASTERS (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka)

QC (Quality Control) Review by Daisuke Fujisaki

Q: What are your honest thoughts after using it?

A. First of all, I was surprised at how quickly the water drained. There are other products that drain well, but this was by far the fastest. It made me think again about the impact and possibilities that filters have on extraction.

I'm sure using Sibarist will definitely broaden the range of recipes I can make!

Q: Who would you recommend this to?

A. It is recommended not only for maniacs, but also for those who have become bored with their coffee brewing. Just by changing the filter, the coffee brewing will change completely, so you can enjoy a very exciting brewing experience. There is no doubt that getting a glimpse into the depths of coffee brewing will tickle your curiosity!

Swamp
It's a swamp
The filter is good but the bag

I tried grinding it with OdeGen2 and using it with flowers.
I was having trouble with the subtle off-flavor of the beans in Clever.
Using the Shiba List gave me a light and delicious drip.
I'm looking forward to trying out various things and having fun.

But there is one unfortunate thing.
The zipper part of the bag containing the filter has come apart.
It is a system that allows for storage, so it cannot be used.
It has not separated after being used many times, it has been like this from the beginning.
It's not a problem since I store it with a clip, but it's a shame because the filter is good.

however
You can challenge yourself to expand your possibilities!

[Purpose of purchase]
●It has a reputation for draining water quickly (YouTube, etc.).
I bought this filter for the DEEP DRIPPER PRO, not for the regular V60 dripper (I fold it a little for use). It works as expected, and I'm very impressed.

[Background to purchase]
●In the past, I have purchased and used the DEEP DRIPPER PRO (dripper angle is 45 degrees).
●A dripper angle of 45 degrees means that the coffee bed is taller (thicker). This means that the extraction time tends to be longer with the DEEP DRIPPER PRO.
●I have used it several times, but unfortunately, the original DEEP DRIPPER PRO paper does not allow me to complete the extraction within the time I set. I have also tried using paper filters with the HARIO V60 (03), but I was not able to complete the extraction within the time.
●Unfortunately, in the end, I stopped using the DEEP DRIPPER PRO altogether.
●This time, I heard rumors about SIBARIST and heard that "the water drains incredibly fast!" so I bought this rumored filter and folded it a little to match the 45 degree setting of the DEEP DRIPPER PRO. I then tried brewing and was able to brew within the target brew time.

[Impressions after use]
●Whether it tastes better or not is a matter of personal preference, so I can't say for sure. However, my impression is that it definitely brews a different flavor of coffee than regular V60 paper coffee.
●We will continue to challenge ourselves with new extraction methods, as paper filters expand the possibilities by allowing us to try out extraction methods and variations in extraction that we had previously given up on.

Personal taste impressions:
●Compared to coffee extracted with a regular V60, I had a strange impression. If I had to describe it in words, I'd say it was "super mellow" and "super soft." It also felt like the "edge had been removed." For your reference.

【others】
●Ultra-fine powder is mixed into the extract
⇒When I left some of the extracted coffee in the pot, I noticed a small amount of fine powder at the bottom. This seems similar to the characteristics of French press coffee. This may be a characteristic of the SHIBARIST filter.

[General]
● Five stars for expanding the possibilities of coffee brewing recipes (I was actually able to do something that I had given up on. And the taste was interesting!)

Purchased at scaj2022
It's made in Barcelona, Spain, so I didn't think it was worth the hassle of importing it, so I was very happy to find that Kigu carries it.
And when you actually use it, the hot water drains out quickly right up to the last brew.
It was finely ground and did not slow down even when stirred vigorously.
If Spain had Sibalisto at full-back, they would have more chances to score with overlapping plays.
I'd like to keep a stock of this paper, which offers so many possibilities and options, so it was a good purchase.
