Varia VS3 Dosing Cup 58mm (for VS3 only)

Although the capacity of the powder container is small, I like the design. I usually use a flask-shaped powder container that is about 10 cm high (to grind more than 35 g).

The machine finally arrived so I was able to review it! It's not too tall and very easy to use. The set with the white main unit was cute! If I were to be greedy, I wish the aperture was a little wider because there is too much space between the holder.
Also, the magnet is so strong that when you try to pick it up quickly, it sticks to the stand and the powder spills.

When grinding shiny dark roast coffee, the normal powder container would spill out even in the vs3, so I purchased this dosing cup.
The cup is quite tall, which is nice.

I was not careful because it said the volume was 60g.
I took my eyes off 35g of medium roasted beans with a grind size of 130 and a little bit spilled out.
It's an official product so it fits perfectly, so it's a bit disappointing.

When you attach it to the grinder, it fits perfectly and looks really cool!
However, while the capacity is listed as 60g for light roast, my impression is that for medium-dark roast it's probably up to 40g.
The photo shows the scene where "during the 45g glide, the outlet was about to get clogged, so I tried to shake the cup to even it out and drop it all, but gave up halfway through." By the way, the blade is Supernova and the grind is 110.
At this point there were only a few beans left in the hopper.
If you expand the hopper, it can hold 60g of medium-dark roasted coffee, so I wanted the cup to be able to hold 60g at the very least...
I haven't tried espresso yet, but if you use a 58mm portafilter or if 40g capacity is enough for you, I think it's worth buying. It looks great, so 👍
I'm hoping for a larger capacity genuine product next time!
